Mac Septic CRM (ReactCRM)

The operating system for a Central Texas septic company: dispatch, billing, a technician iOS app, AI voice receptionist, team chat, and IoT monitoring in one codebase.

[ WHY_IT_MATTERS ]

Runs the whole Mac Septic operation day to day, and is the largest codebase in the portfolio by commit volume. Built feature-flag-first so modules (scoring, dialer, e-sign, IoT) can be carried to a second field-service vertical.

[ OVERVIEW ]

ReactCRM is the operational backbone of Mac Septic. It unifies inbound calls, SMS, email, web chat, and browse activity into one per-customer timeline, then runs scheduling, dispatch, work orders, and billing on top of it. Cross-channel lead scoring (shipped 2026-04-29) routes hot leads to a prioritized inside-sales queue, and browse-abandonment win-back (2026-05-08) recaptures permit-owner visitors with first-party tracking.

Since May the platform has added: the Mac Field iOS technician app (Expo, offline-first, with job sync, photo capture, guided inspections, DVIR, and pay), an internal team chat, maintenance-contract e-sign with UETA consent and signed-PDF storage, a public booking page, QuickBooks Online sync (OAuth, upsert, nightly scheduler, invoice PDF + email), the Phil AI voice receptionist on the production phone lines, and the dashboard for the Watchful cellular septic monitor (bench stage, not yet at customer sites).

The stack is React 19 + Vite + TanStack Query on the frontend and FastAPI + SQLAlchemy 2 + Alembic + PostgreSQL on the backend, deployed on Railway. Quality is driven by a section-by-section audit-and-fix loop that took the CRM from a 1.55 to a 2.41 grade average in September 2026.
